Kurzweil K150 FS Additive Synthesizer Audio Demos
"Recordings made in the mid to late 90's of some choice presets from the Kurzweil K150 FS additive synthesizer. All recordings are to DAT using the K150 performance features, and a Lexicon Alex effects processor. The K150 had some very interesting and unque performance capabilities including a 'Chorus Editor' which actually was achieved by layering voices on top of one another, delaying then and changing the pitch of each layer. This made for some very interesting arpegiating, delayed as well as chorus effects. These 'Chorus Editor' features as well as 'Timber Shift' and LFO effects are featured in many of these demos. Some fixes done in iZotope RX in order to repair some DAT distortion and dropouts."
