"* semi-modular analogue synthesizer
* dual oscillator, dual multimode-filter
* separate inputs/outputs for both filters
* 18 patch connections in signal chain
* two LFOs with „One Shot“-function
* CV/Gate and MIDI control

The two oscillators have the four waveforms triangle, sawtooth, square and spike. VCO 2 instead of the spike has a noise generator. VCO2 can be detuned about plus or minus one octave compared to VCO 1. About a patch connection can be the oscillators sync with each other. In addition, the signal can be tapped off separately from VCO 2 can be used to filter modulation.

The two 12-dB-state-variable multimode filter feature of the operating modes low, band and high-pass and notch (bandstop). The filters are connected in series, thus with the same mode of operation results in a greater slope. This value is variable, since the two cutoff frequencies can be shifted via Space-controllers against each other. With the combination of low-and high-pass results in a band-pass with variable width and separately controllable resonances. About a patch connection, a parallel connection of the filter is possible. Then two offset bandpass filters, a notch filter with variable width or a low-or high-pass with projecting bandpass can be realized. The response can be regulated for both filters up to self-oscillation. The cutoff frequencies are jointly regulated or controlled by envelope. They also can be moved on the Space controls against each other. The modulation via LFO or the mod input acts together either on filter 1 or both filters.

Key Follow for a pitch-dependent opening of the filter can be accommodated via a simple patch connection of Key-CV for Contour or Mod input.

Since both filters have separate inputs and outputs, the MICROZWERG can also be used as a versatile dual-filter box for external audio signals.

The two LFOs have four waveforms and a one-shot function. Here goes through the selected waveform after the gate pulse of the incoming note only one cycle and thus can be considered a simple envelope, as for the pitch or the VCA, are used. LFO 2 has also a sample & hold mode.

There are internal modulation compounds of the LFO to filter cutoff frequency and the pitch of the oscillators or the pulse width of VCO 2 The speed of LFO 2 can be modulated over a CV input. Here, the frequency of LFO 2 can be increased or decreased, so hereby extremely fast or slow modulations are possible by a factor of 30.

The control signals of the envelope and the LFOs are also displayed and can therefore control functions of other analog synthesizers and modular systems.

The signal VCOs-VCF1/VCF2-VCA as well as the common modulations are pre-wired internally. The MICROZWERG thus can be played directly. All other connections are made through the patch jacks and can be driven or used by both the MICROZWERG itself and from external devices.

The MIDI input allows the MICROZWERG with a Keyboard or a DAW drive. In addition to the note commands data from the pitch wheel (+ / - 2 semitones) be and the modulation wheel to control the cutoff frequency processed."
