via the seller: "This awesome synth was purchased about a year ago on eBay for $750 but it did not barely make a sound(not as advertised) so I shipped it to New England Audio where it was fully serviced and refurbished for another $1000, and now it works perfectly, but it has just been gathering dust. Starting bid is a great deal for such a collector's item!"
