DX5 Playing Depeche Mode "Personal Jesus"

Published on Apr 1, 2014 DX5·146 videos

"No sound was sampled from the original song in any source. I recreated the drums exactly how they did back in 1989: Hitting a flight case and recording and processing it. The breathy sound is me too.

Gear used (both for sampling and playing live): Emu Emax (and the Emu Libraries), Kurzweil PC1x, Roland JP8000, Access Virus TI Snow. Backtrack recorded on Pro Tools.

Composed by Martin L: Gore"
