via the seller: "It was built using the SMR4 Filter. There are two modifications that I made to this unit. The first is apparent from the pictures. That extra knob on the front is a volume control, VERY handy. The second modification was to lower the input level gain, as the default resistor value was set to a very low impedence that did not allow certain line-level devices I owned to work well with it."
