"Fantastic and nearly perfect ARP 2600... perfectly playable, has NOT been upgraded or modded. Calibrated and adjusted by Ed Miller, LA - Area synth tech on 5/22/14. Newly tightened and cleaned keyboard connector, unit is completely STOCK and near perfect condition.
It is a 2601 model, so one of the last made, therefore in much better condition than earlier models - All sliders and controls function smoothly, no corrosion on any component, including the interior electronics. Purchased from a professional recording studio, not a "touring" machine. Silk-screening is pristine, The machine looks brand-new. Less than usual wear on Tolex, for a synth nearing 30 years of age and a thoughtfully smoothed over corner of the keyboard case shows some wood. Keyboard could benefit from rebushing, but ALL KEYS TRACK PERFECTLY and the machine is guaranteed to be playable as a musical instrument upon arrival. "
