"Great example of the rare customised version of this classic drum machine.The Drumtraks is a fantastic classic 80 drum machine - a true contender to the Linn LM1 and Linndrum, with brilliantly chosen 8 bit sampled sounds and the essential Curtis analogue filters to beef-up the kick and toms.
This particular version has switches on the rear panel to toggle between extra installed EPROMS of 4 different snare sounds and 2 tom sounds (the extra snares include a more 'rock' power snare, and the other tom set is more Simmonds-like).
As stated in the condition description, the main mix output requires a TRS jack to be nearly inserted, but not quite, possibly an anomaly from the EPROM switch customisation."
