"Extremely rare (one of several), early Blue Lantern handywork. Versatile desktop modular filter / synth box with numerous control and input/output options. Great for the sound scientists, much experimenting can be done here with the patchbay and connectivity/option switches with making sounds with the unit by itself (it will self-oscillate producing a very clean sine wave), in combination with your analog and modular setup, and also as a filter effect and CV source (EG & LFO outs). An excellent versatile sounding filter with switchable 12dB, 18dB, and 24dB slopes (big red knob), and it has an onboard Envelope Generator (Attack & Release) and LFO for modulation (with their own outputs), plus 2 inputs with preamps (gain and level controls). One input can be routed after the preamp and sent out the Extreme FM output also. More info on the ins, outs, and function are pasted below. This thing has that thick raw big analog filter sound to beef up your tones, create it's own tone, and provides modulation sources for other gear.
It's a very unique box and the filter is not readily available and requires building it yourself or having stg soundlabs build a module for you, which runs for $395...
