7/8 Roland SH-01 Gaia & SH-101 Improv

Published on Jul 4, 2014 zibbybone

"Noodling around on my Gaia today, I came up with this ostinato, so I decided to sequence it on the SH-101 so I could improv some lead sounds on the Gaia. I've got PK-5 bass pedals MIDI'd up to the Gaia for drone and an EV-5 expression pedal plugged into one of the Moog CP-251's attenuator inputs which is then output into the SH-101's modulation input which I have controlling filter cut-off. SH-101's audio is then run through the 'Bloom' algorithm on my trusty Strymon Big Sky reverb pedal."
