"Arp pro soloist restoration project. This is another project that i don't have anymore time for. It powers on and plays, but only 12 of the preset patches work. Only the volume effect seems to work correctly with aftertouch. The port/glide function does work. They keyboard plays really well. It's been totally rebuilt with new keybushings and a new touch sensor. The keys and sensor are all aligned pretty well, but could use a little bit of adjustment on the last few keys on the far left side. Just so the keys touch the sensor a little better before they hit the case so it triggers with less pressure. This item needs some troubleshooting on the voices mainly. What works, works and sounds great. The process is described in the service manual for finding out what chips/connections/and components are dead by a process of elimination. I just don't have time to figure out what's actually going on with this unit. Cosmetic condition is fair. Expect some cosmetic blemishes in the paint and a little tape residue on the right top side. Someone drilled a small hole on the far right side in what looks like an attempt to attach one of the sides better. The sides are in pretty good shape and attached well, but they still need to be attached a little better. This is a common problem with these units. A lot of people drill out the sides so they can attach bigger brackets to keep them in-place. It's a great sounding keyboard but needs some more attention to become fully working.

The following patches produce sound, sound great, and seem to work:
english horn
buzz basson
sax
space reed
cello
violin
harpsicord
noze
pulsar
space bass
fuzz guitar 1
fuzz guitar 2

The rest of the voices are either totally silent or have extremely low volume. If you have any questions about anything please ask me. This item is considered as-is for parts or restoration. It has been described to the best of my knowledge. There are no returns on project items."
