"Up for sale is a MIDIbox V1 and it uses the 6581 SID chip. I originally got it from Blue Lantern (the modular guys) some years back. I love the way it looks with acryllic case, blue display, and green arcade buttons.
It is fully functional. All buttons work, all parameters adjust, midi is functional, sounds great, and display is bright. Never went super deep in the programming but you can control the parameters with midi. It uses the built in filter of the sid. It has an 1/4” output for the sid and a 1/4" input to access the filter on the chip. There is Midi In, Out, and Thru, but I always forget which is which as they are not labeled!"
