There are a lot of great Mega Man tracks, and originally my plan was to do a classic Mega Man song as my second track in the Mega Man universe. And then I watched a friend play Crystal Snails level.
I got a recommendation to do this song a while back, listened to it, and went , "That was weird. No thank you." But, when my friend was playing it, I started to pay attention to the songs time, and fell in love with it.
The way it dances from 13/8 to 6/8 to a weird 6/8+2/8 to finally finding 4/4 only to lose it to 13/8 again made me very happy. I extended the 13/8 parts as much as possible because I think they are just the coolest, slowed it down a bit to give it some groove, and then tried to give it as much atmosphere with as few tracks as possible. I hope you enjoy!
Special thanks to Khalil Moutrie, my creative consultant, for all of your help with these VGMS, as well as your constant stream of inspiration through playing all of these awesome games."
