"THIS IS AN ITALIAN EKO SYNTH - CIRCA 1979. IT IS A VERY RARE PRE-SET SYNTH. It is in full working order there is a little crackle to one or two of the pots, not all that noticeable and easily sorted with some contact cleaner.
Some tremendous sounds are to be had from this machine, huge fat basses, big whomping sounds, nice leads. The presets sound nothing like the I streets they are supposed to represent, who wants it to sound like a pan pipe anyway!
The P15 is monophonic and totally analog. Although it says "Digital System" on the front panel, this only refers to the underlying circuitry inside using some (at the time) modern integrated circuit chip technologies in place of traditional transistor based technology for a more stable result. The signal path is still entirely analog from start to finish, and the result is very warm sounding."
