"EKO Stradivarius with the lid - modded with external power supply transformer.
Excellent condition unit that plays great, it has not been used much - just back from service.
These are rare - crème della creme string machines - Solina String Ensemble but better - no kidding.
A few smaller signs of wear at the very ends of the front panel probably caused by the hinges of the lid, some smaller areas of wear on the sides and underneath the unit.

220 volt"

ekosynth 1974

video upload by Sean Barron

"An extremely rare analogue Italian Synth from 1974. This one had to be completely restored. I'll post more when I get into the trippy sounds!"

EKO P15 Italian Mono synth Improvs cobbled together.

video upload by Ig Oluffson

"Eko P15 70's Italian analogue synth through a Behringer DR400 reverb/delay. This just some cobbled together improvisations to show some of the sounds of the Eko P15 not to 'show off' my music.Didn't even think of cobbling them together until I started editing. The P15's are regarded as rare, but I have 2!They are temperemental though! This one's upper octave is faulty and with all the wires inside it ain't easy to fault find!

Recorded through a mixer into the input of a Panasonic G7."

"A rare Ekosynth P15, the semi-preset analog synthesizer released by the Italian EKO in the late 70s. The machine has been recapped and serviced by a professional technician and it just looks and sounds perfect.

YAMAHA CS60 / EKO RITMO 20

video upload by Vintage Audio Institute Italia

"This time we're pairing the Yamaha CS60 with a pretty hard-to-find drum machine : the Eko Ritmo 20 from 1982.

It's a hybrid digital and analog machine with individual volume controls for each sound as well as some pretty great fill-ins.

Less ring mod and funny stuff on the Yamaha CS60 this time - cinematic and orchestral was the task and it does it well although it could use a calibration. It's going to get that plus a new ribbon controller and a general look-over before we put it on the market - holler if you're looking for a very good condition CS60 with legs and lid that's just been serviced ;)

We used the Mooger Fooger phaser on the bass, some Roland Space Echo as well as some Ableton reverb on melodies and chords."

YAMAHA CS60 / EKO RITMO 20

video upload by Vintage Audio Institute Italia

"Switching up the drum machines on this one : from the CRB Computer Drums to the more compact Eko Ritmo 20 from around 1982.

Hybrid digital / analog sounds with individual volume controls for every sound as well as some pretty groovy fill-ins - love it ❤️.
Lots of ring modulation on the CS60 this time - the aim is to get harsher textures out the synth."

BIG UP TO JOHNNY GODDARD for MAKING this vid!"

Sam Battle, aka LOOK MUM NO COMPUTER closes out the year with his cathartic new single Time Is Not A Healer It’s A Fuel for Resentment. The latest release from the renowned musician, innovator and maker is an upbeat melancholic indie ballad that finds him at his most contemplative.

"This is a song I have been humming for a while, I initially made up the riff when making the furby organ, and played it in the furby organ video but to me it was always this song I was playing. I wrote it in a lonely place in me life, no idea what it’s actually about but I have my ideas haha! Only sad times you can write tunes like this I think! I made it on my home made synth and an

old analog polyphonic synth to make it fit with my other tunes even though this one is a tad more on the emotional end of it all."

Speaking about the accompanying video, Sam says:

"We went to the woods at sunrise but we just missed it because I spent an hour in the morning trying to figure out a bow tie. We shot it to make it look as believable as we could it being a low budget music video from 1986 including power stances and arm waves. All the good stuff"

The keyboard is the Eko Encore 49.

SOLTON PROJECT 100 / EKO RITMO 20

video upload by Vintage Audio Institute Italia

"This is the last out of four videos of songs made entirely with our Solton Project 100. Or almost - We're using it along a few hits and bangs from the EKO Ritmo 20 - a very nice sounding Italian drum machine with individual volume controls for each sound.

For effects we're using two 1980s, grade B rack units - the half rack format LEM FX 22 and the Vermona DEG 50 Echo. The LEM FX 22 is a multi-effect with a combo mode that lets you engage two effects at the same time. The Vermona DEG 50 is actually part of our secret weapons arsenal - a pretty crappy and noisy Digital Delay rack unit but the chorus modulation has that magic wonk.

The Solton Project 100 is maybe the coolest name for a synth we've ever heard - prove us wrong in the comment section :)"

Pic of the inside below.

"Vintage analog EKO Tiger Junior organ with rhythm machine from 70s made in Italy.

This one is in top working condition, all keys, buttons, switches, speakers and sliders work. Cosmetically out and inside is excellent clean considering its age and shows few marks and wear tear scratches lines from signs of time and usage and some plastic bent.
It has been serviced added with audio output plug socket, also drums on rhythm machine can be customized parameters from inside panel to get for example more punch on kick bass drum, so there is lot of possibility for modifications like circuit banding to get unique character sounds."
