True collector’s item: the unit is fully working and in very good cosmetical condition for its age with some cosmetical traces of use in the wood case.
In this unit the very rare original metal bar is still mounted: this bar serves as a "handle" to transport the drum machine more easily, but above all it was used as a music stand. it is really difficult, if not impossible, to find an EKO Dream Box today with its original metal bar.
This is a simple and great drum machine with a very rich sound, especially with a nice tape delay and reverb added. The sound is very similar to Ace Tone drum machines from the same era!
Eko was the Italian brand that produced many legendary instruments. The Company was based in Recanati (Marche, Italy), in the same area where Elka, Elgam, Farfisa, Crumar, Jen, Siel, Solton, CRB, etc. were born."
