Various Modifications, Upgrades & New circuitry have been added to this machine to dramatically expand it's features and sounds well beyond it's original specifications and into the realms of experimental electronic weirdness.
The YAMAHA PSS-570 is a top of the line Digital F.M. Synthesizer from the late 1980's, with built-in PCM drum machine, built-in Analog Chorus circuit & 'Single Finger Chord' modes.

An infinite amount of brand new, unique and randomly generated Instrument / Chord patches, which can be instantly crafted by pressing buttons and flicking switches.
An experimental Patch-Bay can be used to re-patch the F.M. Chip and create fascinating Glitch Effects and Random self-composing weirdness....
Chorus Circuit can now act as a Phaser / LFO and can be modulated with control knobs.
Built-in Step-Sequencer circuit can create programmable Pitch Modulation and programmable Trance-gate.
CLOCK OUTPUT (and also Input) can be used to Sync external gear such as Monotribe, Volcas or other suitable drum machine, etc.
Step-Sequencer's CLOCK can be synchronized to the PSS-570's built-in Drum Machine.
Metal keys are painted using a combination of high quality Metallic Paint, Glow-in-the-Dark Paint and Gloss Lacquer.
