"This auction is for Korg PS3100 was completely restored by one of the most prominent analog Synthesizer repair shop in the country, and in excellent working condition. It essentially a functional collectors item. There are, however two minor issue that haven't been addressed during the restoration (due to lack of parts) One is that left-most, highest key (upper E) does not make sound (that's because it need a chip KORG35-K710 that is shown in the last picture), if we manage locate that part before the auction ends we will replace it. Also, the resonator #2 is fairly week but it still functional. Other than that, the synth is working great and sounds incredible! The wooden case was also completely restored and it's essentially new!

Korg PS3100 is the first of the PS3xxx polyphonic analog synths that made a splash in the analog music world in the 70s. Many prominent musician used it and some still use it to this day due it its unique sound characteristic that is practically impossible to duplicate by any imitators or VA synths.

This synth is extremely rare, particularly in this beautiful condition (just look at the pictures)."

  1. It's amazing that with its significant problems, this synth is still being listed for more than twice what the last PS-3100 on eBay sold for. Shameless.
