via the seller: "The drum sounds are triggered via the inputs on the left side of the device. I used the individual outputs of a Roland drum machine as my trigger source. You can use each channel independently, or trigger them at the same time for more complex layered sounds.I find the DS200 works best for boomy kicks and space drum toms, but I've also been able to coax hi hat and bell-ish sounds out of it by using both channels pitched up and detuned.
This vintage drum synth is still in great shape and would certainly make an excellent addition to your classic instrument collection."
