"Create your own virtual instruments, share them with your friends and become a part of a growing community of touch device musicians.

Gemma is a platform that enables music app users and developers to meet within one place. You can create and share your own virtual instruments or download and use those made by others for free. We call these instruments Gems.

You can create instruments in the visual programming language Pure Data, which has rich sources of tutorials and a large community of helpful, productive and creative users. It is open source and you can even copy/paste elements from other creators’ instruments.

With our constantly growing toolbox called GemmaLib, Pure Data users will be creating individual Gems at ease. What used to take many weeks can now be created in only one day.

The amount of Gems included in the app will increase based on user-generated content, which is a unique feature in Gemma. Dig in and make your own setup of the best virtual instruments.

To find and share the latest Gems, go to our homepage www.sequentialdots.com

If you want to create your own Gem, follow these steps:

1. Get the Gemma app
2. Download and install GemmaLib from our homepage
3. Create your own instrument and GUI in Pure Data with tools within GemmaLib
4. Drag and drop your file into the "Documents" folder of iTunes
5. Play your instrument on iPad or iPhone
6. And don’t forget to share your Gem through our website"
