via the seller: "Up for auction is my Sequential Circuits Prophet 600 analog synth. I am the original owner of this keyboard, and this is the first time it has been on eBay. It has a new 'membrane pad', and and as far as I can tell is now is in perfect working order. All the pots and switches work perfectly, with no noise or 'scratchiness', All the keys work PERFECTLY and are flush [see photos.] All six voices play. Midi In and Out works perfectly. [Midi is limited to note on and note off. This was the first Midi keyboard.] The only thing I haven't checked out is the tape cassette data transfer for loading and unloading patches, but I have no reason to believe it doesn't work. As you can see by the photos, this keyboard is in excellent condition. There are some scratches on the bottom plate from the keyboard stand [see pics.] Even the wood end panels are perfect. The only problem I've ever had with this board is the membrane pad, which has been replaced. The Prophet 600 came out after the Prophet 5, and is the very first midi synthesizer, therefore it's midi capabilities are limited, but if you're looking you probably know that."
