"Ok up for sale today we have something very special indeed, a custom one of a kind PPG Wave 2.2 vintage analog/digital synthesizer with factory original MIDI...
Here is a general run down on what has been done to it;- All knobs replaced with new
- Replaced all scratched keys with new
- Potentiometers cleaned and lubricated
- All buttons and keys cleaned and polished (Note: One button still seems to not sit right, will need attention)
- Keybed levelled, spaced, rebushed and lubricated
- Keybed subframe completely disassembled, sandblasted and powdercoated for very long life
- Chassis frame stripped and powdercoated pearl white (top section painted with high quality enamel)
- Rear panel fabricated, powdercoated and logo professionally sign-written in vinyl lettering (to cover existing unused mod holes in back panel, note also some non-functional bank expansion mods on front panel).
- Rear panel In/Out text labelling redrawn from original and professionally printed in vinyl
- Replacement of various nuts and bolts with stainless steel ones for long life
- All voice card boards sent to a renowned PPG expert in Austria and given the once over, bench tested and sent back.
- New lithium battery installed
- Precision 10 turn pot installed for LFO rate
- Operating system upgraded to Version 8
- Repaired, fully checked over and tested by Synth Service Melbourne."
