Mutable Instruments - Elements - The Resonator

Published on Oct 30, 2015 isvisible / isinvisible

"Here's a simple patch showing some of the sounds that the Mutable Instruments 'Elements' can make with virtually no modulation. In fact the only additional modulation it's getting is on the Timbre of the Strike.
For this video I'm just purely concentrating on tweaking the Resonator side of Elements.

Here's a few patch notes:

ALM - Pamela's Workout is clocking the Mutable Instruments 'Grids', a Doepfer A-151 (switch) and the Livewire 'Chaos Computer'.
Three outputs from 'Grids' into the A-151, then clocking the 'Klee' sequencer.
The Klee is providing cv to 'Elements' v/oct input.
A quantised output from the Livewire 'Chaos Computer' is providing cv to the v/oct input of a Cylonix 'Cyclebox' which is in Percussive mode and has a steady 4x4 trigger applied to it's Sync in. The Cyclebox also has it's PH2 input modulated by an output from the Chaos Computer.
Both outputs from the Cyclebox go into both inputs of Elements.
A Binary output from the Chaos Computer is going into the gate input of Elements.
An output from the Chaos Computer into the cv control for the Strike Timbre in Elements.
Both outputs from Elements (stereo) into a mixer to record audio straight to Reaper.
And that's it.
