This might be the first ddrum 3 to be featured on the site. I didn't recognize it off the bat so I did a quick search in the archives. The only post I could find mentioning it was this post from 2006 on a the Simmons SDX. I then took a quick look at Clavia's legacy site and there is not mention of it. There is some info and samples at The Un-official ddrum forum. If anyone wants to share any info on the ddrum3 in the comments, please do!  Curious what Clavia's most powerful ddrum was and if this was it according the the Simmons SDX post.

  2. totally agree! I have owned 3 of these (still have 2 ddrum3's) best drum module ever built including everything current in 2017 - nothing compares to this module in triggering speed and sample quality was waaay ahead of it's time. Only 600 ever made. Rare piece , used by pro tours the world over

  3. Yah , I have every decent brain out there and the ddrum3 brain is still the best by far especially for speed and dynamics etc etc ... Why the f__ k can't they make somthing that triggers this well in 2020. The Roland TD-50 sounds are a joke ... seriously roland get the latency lower and real mutisamples so I'm not forced to use drummer superior and lag. The tech is there WHY ??????????
