"The Moog booth at the 2016 Winter NAMM show celebrated the first major Moog 'Happening', The Island Of Electronicus.
Conceived and organized in the early 70's by Moog marketing guru, David Van Koevering (pictured above), The Island of Electronicus was presented as a mind-expanding series of immersive electronic events held on an island off the coast of Florida. Inspired by Van Koevering's event, the Moog Island of Electronicus encouraged visitors to 'come together in an immense creative explosion of thought & feeling.'Special thanks to Carlos and the crew at The Echo Park Cactus Store for adorning our island with a sublime collection of entrancing desert plants, and to illustrator Kyle Platts for his ingenious Mother-32 inspired drawings.
For those of you who could not make it out to this year's NAMM show, please enjoy these photos from the event."
