"Roland Boutique JU-06 – Pad Demo

A quick video demonstrating a tweaked pad/lead sound I’ve called ‘Sparkly Lead/Pad’ [there is a little delay on the JU-06 from the mixer]

There are lots of video’s showing some of the sounds of the JU-06 but many of them highlight the basses of which this machine was fondly remembered for – but I remember the pads in particular, they were always my favourite.

I used to have a Roland Juno 106 [1988-1992] and lost it to a seedy bunch who were employees of a music store in Newcastle Upon Tyne called ‘Rock City’ the store went bust while they were in possession of my Juno 106 and other synths, [a Roland SH101 being another] because the store was closing down [unkown to me] they thought it was ok to steal customers property, which they did.

Used:
Korg EMX2
Roland Lucina AX-09
Roland Boutique JU-06
Roland Aira System 1

As always, the track is recorded Live: audio/video recorded simultaneously [mistakes included!]

Recording:

GoPro Hero / Behringer Xenyx 1622 USB mixer / Behringer 1002FX Mixer / Zoom H1 [internal Mic] Cool Edit Pro.
