"This is the original Arp Odyssey. It is in decent condition. It hasn't been beat up or abused. A few discolored spots (adds character). The keyboard functions as it should. All the keys work and none stick. It has a good synth action feel. 
All the functions seem to work, but, not being an analog expert and not knowing how parameters interact with each other, sometimes things don't do anything, thus, it is being sold as is. Still, It is capable of makeing those smooth warm analog sounds. The nice thing about this unit is that it comes with a joy stick. The drawback of the Odysseys was the pitch knob. The joy stick adds control of pitch and filter as well as oscillator mix. This joy stick is rare. A web search failed to find one for sale. It can also be used with other analog synths including modular as long as they are properly wired up. Full disclosure: The cv, gate and trig I/O has been added. I am able to send signal to another voltage controlled unit, but, the osc 1, 2 and gain controls do nothing. One cap on a slider is missing. (pulse width mod). The ground prong has been cut off the power plug. The white balance is off in some of the pictures. It is white not yellow. Detailed item info refers to ac adapter, there is an internal power supply. Comes with foot switch for portamento. It will probably be shipped in two packages, one with the synth, and, one with the controllers. Save shipping by picking it up in Prescott Arizona. I will ship outside the US but it will be more expensive."
