Electribe 018 // Processed drums 02
Published on Aug 28, 2016 Computing.Sound
"A simple drum pattern on the Korg Electribe 2 processed by two guitar pedals.
First the TC Electronic Flashback delay set to Ping Pong mode.
Dry/Wet amount and delay time are modulated by hand. Feedback is set very high.
Second the Zoom MS70CDR used for pitch shifting, bit reduction and also adding a slight ambience.
LO-FI effect on the Zoom MS70CDR:
To achieve the simple bit reduction/crushing and samplerate reduction I used the LO-FI Delay algorithm.
Set delay and feedback the lowest and the mix to the highest amount possible.
Then I adjusted samplerate and bit depth to my liking
Blend was set to 100.
It is also possible to add dampening and filtering to tame the rawness of the signal."
