Sound Experiment: Pure Data Modular Synthesis

Published on Sep 8, 2016 Chris Beckstrom

"I've been building a modular synth inside Pure Data.

Why do this when I also have a DIY mostly-analog synth sitting a few feet away from my computer? New sounds of course!

Here's a patch from this morning, featuring a variety of custom "modules" along with an in-progress delay module. I'm especially excited about a sequencer where the step can be controlled with CV - I haven't been able to figure out how to do this on my physical modular, but it's pretty easy in PD."
