First few patches made on the Modal 008. Barely scraped the surface with the design error possibilities
ReplyDeleteHa touche.... I've my ups and downs with this synth, but I tend to disagree with that statement. I think at the price point, the bar is set very high. It's a pretty young company, and I might agree that it was brought to the market a little early. But Modal have been very responsive and quick to keep the updates coming. I exchange emails with Paul Maddox a few times a week. He's been great. My biggest complaint is the faint oscillator bleed that is most prominent with the drive engaged. Not noticeable in most situations, but knowing it's there drives me nuts. Everything else people have complained about in the GS thread is kinda bullshit IMO. But to each their own. This really is a unique and powerful synth. I'm pretty happy with it.
