"The Modal Electronics Modal 001 is a duophonic hybrid synthesizer keyboard released by Modal Electronics in 2015. It combines digitally controlled oscillators with an analog signal path, giving it both stability and classic analog warmth. The Modal 001 is a 2-voice, bi-timbral hybrid synth with two oscillators and sub-oscillators per voice, a 24 dB transistor ladder filter, and over 50 waveform options. It includes a built-in 32-step sequencer, arpeggiator, and modulation matrix, plus performance controls like an XY joystick and aftertouch keyboard. In great shape! I'm currently working on a custom sound pack for the Argon8X focused on 80s inspired tones, AOR, melodic rock, vintage pads, bells, brass and atmospheric textures.

These sounds are designed to capture the spirit of classic 80s synthesizers while taking advantage of the modern wavetable engine of the Argon8X.

I will add the download link in this description once it's released.

In the meantime, enjoy this short demo preview of some of the sounds I'm working on.

Grimsel, August 2021 - A boulder in the foreground, suspended between balance and collapse, as if time itself were holding its breath. Across the horizon, a snow-draped ridge stretches endlessly, while in the distance a solitary peak rises into the clear, boundless sky. It feels as if an unseen eagle circles above – carrying longing and vastness on its wings.
