"This is a Moog Taurus II analog monophonic synthesizer from 1980-83. It is mainly designed as a bass synth that is controlled by a pedal keyboard, however it is not restricted to playing only low notes. The synth features:

- Two voltage controlled oscillators (Saw or Square) w/ sync + noise.

- one LFO (.3 - 30Hz) w/ triangle, pulse, and random waveforms

- One contour generator (attack and decay)

- a 4 pole Moog filter

- pitch and modulation wheels, and variable glide

It is designed to play with the pedal keyboard, but it could be controlled by the proper type of analog voltage controlled synth keyboard. Please note that the jack on the back that looks like a MIDI port is NOT a MIDI port! This synth has no MIDI (or any sort of digital components). The jack is used to connect the pedals."
