"The Jomox Sunsyn is a peculiar but formidable synthesizer. With eight voices with two analog oscillators each, the Sunsyn is capable of everything from wispy ethereal pads to unreal, destructive basslines. Among its more peculiar features are two 'Ramp Controlled Oscillators,' basically short wavetables that you can modulate with the same flexibility and reliability of tracking as an analog VCO. Various means of animating these RCOs are part of what gives the Sunsyn its unique sound: something between a PPG Wave and any number of classic monosynths. The other remarkable feature is its filter section: with four individually addressable poles, an enormous number of filter topologies can be emulated, for everything from acid squelch to fizzy bandpass to Moog-like thump.
