"This auction is for a very special synthesizer, Elektron’s Sidstation, at the heart of which is MOS Technology’s famous SID sound chip from the Commodore 64. Its original SID 6581 chip was replaced with an authentic original chip in 2015 by Elektron in Los Angeles (I purchased an additional SID 6581 as backup, which is also up for auction)."
