KORG MS-10 + SQ-1 ~ Will They Pair? Ep.25

Published on Aug 23, 2017 once upon a synth

"In this video I pair the Korg MS-10 with the Korg SQ-1. The MS-10 is a vintage analog monophonic synthesizer made by Korg in the 80s. The SQ-1 is a modern CV and MIDI sequencer which is a nod to the classic SQ-10 which was a companion of the MS family. In this video I use the CV outputs of the SQ-1 to control both the notes and some CV parameters of the MS-10. I hope you enjoy this combination of old and new gear. Throughout the video I'll sometimes process the sound through a ValhallaDSP Room reverb plugin. Finally, towards the end I include a Maxon AD-900 vintage delay pedal."
