"Moogfest 2018 is a fully immersive experience with over 150 artists, performances, workshops, keynotes and masterclasses.
The full lineup and schedule for Moogfest 2018 (May 17 - 20) is available now. Ticket holders for this year’s festival in Durham will get to begin reserving their workshop spaces as early as this Friday, so now is the perfect time to purchase your tickets to Moogfest 2018 and begin building your custom experience.
• Engineer and VIP passholders: Workshop sign up begins this Friday, April 20 at 11 a.m. (ET) and ends April 23 at 11:59 p.m. (ET). You will be able to sign up for two workshops per person.
• GA, Student, and Durham Local passholders: Workshop sign-up begins April 24 at 11 a.m. (ET) and ends April 26 at 11:59 p.m. (ET). You will be able to sign up for two workshops per person.
•From April 27 at 11 a.m. (ET) onward, all ticket types will be able to sign up for an unlimited number of workshops.
WANT TO BUILD AN UNRELEASED SYNTHESIZER WITH MOOG ENGINEERS?
Get the most out of Moogfest with the Engineer Pass, a special ticket that provides VIP access to the festival and the unique opportunity to work alongside Moog Music Engineers during a two-day synth-building workshop. This behind-the-scenes experience gives you the opportunity to engage Moog engineers while gaining insight into the art of electronic design.
This year’s workshop will build the Subharmonicon, a brand-new electronic instrument inspired by the Trautonium, the Rythmicon, and the Schillinger System. It is a semi-modular harmonic kaleidoscope that divides into itself until everything that is up becomes down.
As a VIP or Engineer passholder, you’ll receive priority access and entry to private events throughout the festival. This year’s VIP experience will feature:
