"It comes with a new battery, freshly cleaned potentiometers, switches, edge connectors and ribbon connectors, and loaded with original Factory Preset Kits.
It also comes with a number of highly useful modifications:
- ZIF Sockets on each Module for quick and easy Eprom changes
- 8k/16k Switches on each Module for changing the Eprom type so that any 8k or 16k Eprom can go in any Module
- Sequencer In jacks have been re-routed to run through the Sensitivity pots so almost any level of signal can drive the inputs
And, in addition to the set of stock Eproms, it also comes with a Massive collection of 52 extra Eproms including 6 Bass Drums, 6 Snare Drums, 5 sets of Toms and 25 assorted sounds from original Simmons Library favorites to classic vintage drum machines - see list below and listen on SoundCloud.
Also included are a photocopy version of the User Manual, power cable, set of traditional gray knob caps and an XLR > 1/4" Snake wired for Pin 3 Hot as early SDS7s Outputs were wired this way instead of the current standard, Pin 2 Hot.
The case, Incrementor knob and thumb screws have been painted as have a number of small dings on the faceplates - see pictures. The red plastic Display window shows very slight signs of warping - see pictures. Hi Hat Pedal jack is missing release mechanism but works fine.
