C.H.U.D. (Martin Cooper and David A Hughes cover)- Prophet X, Moog Sub 37, Tempest
Published on Sep 7, 2018 EverettDudgeon138
"Another Music Video. This time for a much lesser known score. While the film C.H.U.D. (Cannibalistic Humanoid Underground Dwellers) has a pretty strong cult following it's score went unreleased for decades until Waxwork records released it officially in 2015.
On the original score the Emulator was featured prominently. In fact C.H.U.D. may very well have been one of the first scores to use it. In addition to the sampled sounds the score also featured a Roland SH1 and Linn Drum. Some other instruments included a Fender Telecaster, Saxophone and Steinway Grand Piano.
Of course this cover focused on the synth/sampler type sounds.
Instruments Used
Sequential Prophet-X Sampler (used from everything to the "C.H.U.D. voice", sewer sounds and a lo-fi choir/string sample)
Moog Sub 37 (Used for the main melody)
Tempest Drum Computer (standard Linn Drum kick)
Hope you all enjoy and remember....watch out for those manholes."
