october by sinedrifter [featuring the Elektron Digitone... all music was done w only the Digitone]

"Just a taste of what the Elektron Digitone can do. This is part of my live set, where all of my music is under 60 BPMs. Towards the end, we drop to 33 BPMs.

FM synthesis is powerful, and beautiful. These are all either pure sine waves, or modulated sine waves. For an 8-voice synth, as you can see, the Elektron Digitone delivers rich sounds and an enjoyable FM synthesis experience. No overdubbing was needed.

All footage was shot by Cam Arjent, and they did all editing as well. Music was by performed by Sinedrifter. The band appears momentarily. I'd like to thank Yira and Dottie for their priceless contributions.

A little bit of extra info: our DAW of choice is Cubase 4.5 running on an Apple Mac G5 Quad (who needs new computers?) All mastering was done using the Focusrite Liquid Mix (no sense in upgrading when you have something that works really well). All footage was shot on a Sony a7 mmii using a Zeiss 55mm f1.5 lens, wide open. Film grain was added in post. Shot on location in Vasquez Rocks State Park, California.

This film is not meant to entertain, but to immerse.

For promotional use only. All content is Copyright 2018 Cam Arjent."
