To transfer your newly downloaded library to your Prophet X you will require a USB 3.0 Flash Drive (USB Stick). Once you have your drive it will need to be correctly formatted. Formatting the flash drive will erase any previously recorded data contained within the drive.

FORMATTING YOUR USB FLASH DRIVE:

1. Insert the USB 3.0 flash drive into the “Sample Import” port located on the rear panel of the Prophet X.

2. Press the “Global” button.

3. Use Soft Knob 1 to select “Format USB Drive”.

4. Press Soft Key 1 (“Format Now”). Depending on the size of your USB Flash drive this may take several minutes.

5. Your USB drive is now formatted and ready to use with the Prophet X.

INSTALLING YOUR NEW ADD-ON PACK:

1. Copy the uncompressed “px“ folder the USB 3.0 flash drive.


2. Insert the USB 3.0 flash drive into the “Sample Import” port located on the rear panel of the Prophet X.

3. Press the “Global” button.

4. Use Soft Knob 1 to select “Update Library”.

5. Use Soft Knob 3 to select “Add-On Packs”.

6. Press Soft Key 1 (“Update Now”).

7. Choose to “Overwrite” the Add-On Pack in the existing slot or go “Back”

8. Wait for your Add-On Pack to fully install. Depending on the size
of the Pack this may take some time.

9. Once installed you will be prompted to restart your Prophet X.

NAVIGATE TO YOUR NEW ADD-ON PACK:

1. Once your Prophet X has restarted all instrument names will re-initialize. This may take several minutes.

2. To navigate to your Add-On Packs, hold down the “Group” button located in the “Sample Playback” section while turning the “Type” knob to the desired Add-On (A) Bank.

3. Browse and load Instruments within these banks as normal and simply repeat step #2 to alter between different Add-On Packs and the Factory Bank.
