"This beautiful synth also features Encore MIDI I/O and the JL Cooper Filter 24db filter mod. This mod is switchable using the "Half & Full" front panels to toggle between the standard 12db Oberheim filters and the JL Cooper 24db filter which utilizes Curtis chips. This mod simply gives you another tonal option that extends that already legendary sound of this synthesizer which is considered the best sounding of the Oberheim synth line as it has discrete circuitry.

PHYSICAL CONDITION: Excellent - This unit clean, solid , and looks fantastic. Both side wood panels have a few small scratches and still has a like new shine to their finish. The keys, controls, and connections on the rear panel are all in great shape, overall, it's in excellent condition.
WORKING CONDITION : Excellent -Sounds absolutely stunning. No other synth in modern era sounds like this.
The pitch wheel and all other function are operating perfectly. All control knobs and button-switches are working great, LED indicators as well. All I/O is in perfect working order, and all keys are working perfectly as well. Overall working condition is very good.
Fully serviced and cleaned for this listing by Rosen Sound here in Burbank. Unit was examined and it has already been re-capped so that was not necessary. Re-flowed solder to all solder connections, all internal trim pots replaced, removed voice cards and cleaned and re-seated. Lots of caring attention went into this synth to ensure stable operation for the next owner. Not a finer one on the market!
