Jonson takes a deep look into a classic piece of ‘80s budget gear. The analog drum synthesizer, released in 1984, works with four drum channels: bass, snare and two toms. The SDS 800’s cosmic sounds became a regular feature on countless reggae, disco and boogie tracks throughout the ‘80s and ‘90s."
