"Subsonic thunder slips across the virgin wheat field. An alien aural vessel blinks and growls as the new day dawns. Before long the greenery will dance to the odd rhythms that are resonating across the southern farmlands. A dance that won’t end until the sun sets for winter solstice.
And then the dance dies.
