"Some of the Roland MC-09 key features include: it's Single DSP monosynth for bass (TB-303 emulator), lead and drums, a pattern sequencer for up to two measures with 16 beat per measure resolution, a four track audio looper using sample patterns or internal input as "phrases," looping control function which allows sampling phrases with varying pitch or chopping and rearranging phrases, som effect processing (exclusive with monosynth, storage onto smartmedia card, an last but not least Midi in and out connections (but no MIDI thru)."
