DIY voltage controlled Xtal replacement

Published on Sep 19, 2019 juanito moore

Some DIY with Modular for the Masses.

"This is an optional part of the Modular For The Masses reverb module. This adds a voltage-controlled clock to the cheap Chinese digital reverb/effects circuit. With this modification, the reverb effects module can do vibrato, tape-wobble, all the crazy modulation you might want to do.

You can build it!!!

You will need:
PT2399 chip
Ceramic disc 100nF capacitors (get lots they're CHEAP)
Resistors (get a kit or buy 100 each of the most common values)
10uF capacitors
a 5V regulator (the 78L05 I use here isn't powerful enough to run the whole effects module I'm building, so in the final project I'll be using a larger 7805 regulator)
a 100K potentiometer
one NPN transistor, I'm using a 2N3904 (whoops, I accidentally wrote 2N3906 in the video LOL)"
