The Sequential Prophet X and Prophet XL are bi-timbral, 8-voice stereo (16-voice mono) synthesizers that combine high-fidelity stereo samples with the sound and synthesis capabilities of the Dave Smith Instruments Prophet series. Capable of 32-voice polyphony when using a single sample instrument and single oscillator, Prophet X and XL feature a 150 GB sample library by 8Dio, with another 50 GB available for sample import. An array of sample sculpting and modulation tools, stereo analog filters, a dual effects engine, polyphonic step sequencer, and a 61-key semi-weighted (Prophet X) or 76-key weighted (Prophet XL) keyboard with aftertouch enable Prophet X/XL to cover a broad range of musical ground.
