You have to unscrew the case to put a cassette inside and then screw it closed again? It doesn't look big enough to have a cassette loading mechanism. It's a bit too primitive.
ReplyDelete@gridsleep- I don't have one of these, but it looks like the large and smaller turning knobs have shafts which would go into the bearings we see in the bottom view. Then looking at the top view it looks like the side which doesn't have a photo to view has a slot, since thge offset of these knobs corresponds to the cassette in this postion.
ReplyDeleteIf correct, changing cassette is as easy as removing the large and small drive knobes with their shafts, sliding out the old cassette, slide in the new, replace the shafts and knobs. The shafts lock the cassette in place against the heads.
