"Drifting" - 85 BPM Ambient - Raspberry PI, Yamaha EX5 & Guitar

Published on Dec 24, 2019 Floyd Steinberg

"I finally got my Raspberry PI's audio interface working with Linux' JACK&ALSA, so here's a short synth & guitar improvisation. Using the external audio output somewhat reduced the 'xrun callbacks', but you still have to be careful while playing. The PI is running qsynth with a rhodes soundfont and synth v1 for that synth bass. It's sequenced by an EX5 workstation, which also adds the pad sound. I recorded additional guitar and vocal tracks after this was done."
