Doepfer MS-404

via this auction

Demo in the listing previously posted here.

"Recently check on and refurbished in Amsterdam. It is basically like new, although with some scratches , they remain very minimal knowing that this unit is from the nineties.

The MS-404 is basically Dopefer's take on the TB-303 by Roland.

However the two added LFOs add a whole new dimension to the 303 sound. This is because they can modulate the VCOs! Other common 303 emulator features also found on the MS-404 include an external filter input (which I love to use to colour digital synths/VSTs), CV/GATE interfacing, MIDI implementation and a glide effect.

Also has a nice little knob in the back to adjust the Audio input and can be used as a nice preamp/overdrive for whatever you feed into it (nice little driver for drum sounds for example).

All parameters are MIDI controllable. The slide and accent effects from the TB-303 are possible on the MS-404 from the glide control and MIDI velocity for accent.

Polyphony - Monophonic
Oscillators - 1 VCO (sawtooth, pulse, PWM, noise)
LFO - Triangle wave (0.003Hz to 5kHz)
Filter - 24 dB/Oct resonant filter (w/ independent LFO)
VCA - ADSR
Keyboard - None
Memory - None
Input/output - MIDI, CV / GATE, Audio
Date Produced - 1994"
