"Made between 1975-1979, the Micromoog was released shortly after the famous Minimoog. Intended to be affordable for those who wanted a genuine Moog synthesizer, it has also become a classic instrument. The same 24db filter ensured the "Moog" sound, and with a ribbon pitch controller, a mod wheel + 1) pitch stability :- has heated temperature regulation 2) reliability, by using top components 3) single P.C. board construction. One VCO, one modulation oscillator, one VCF, one VCA, TWO contour generators, random (S & H), and one noise source. The creative musical possibilities are endless....and with input options eg S-trig....lots of non-musical stuff can be produced as well....I have not played a Micromoog for years (I was a Moog dealer in 1970/1980s...). I think it blows away the Rogue and the Prodigy..."
