Meso-Polyrhythms w/ MAKEN0ISE


MAKEN0ISE

"Overlapping clock divisions can create changes in a patch that are not just different rhythms for note events. These changes take place in the "meso" time scale, and when they work within and through each other they can be considered to be "meso-polyrhythms."

The more meso scale movements we add to the patch, the harder it gets to hear the effects of each one. Check out the video "Sculpting Time with a Modular Synth" for some thoughts on larger structures. [posted here]
